My husband and I sailed in to Friday Harbor in the Fall of 1978 completing a sailing journey that began on the Napa River, continued through the San Francisco Bay and then up the coast till we discovered the beautiful San Juan Islands.  We bought property in 1981 and are still living in the home we built ourselves.  Over 45 years in the local building trades (as a cabinetmaker) have given me a broad base of experience and contacts to draw upon in our local community. I am committed to and involved in our island community as it is our home and the village in which we raised our children. We are now delighted to have our grandchildren living here as well.
